I have this feeling I can’t shake.
Something from inside, is nudging me to take my YouTube channel to the next level.
This will require a significant time commitment.
A minimum of 10 years of consistently posting, at least once a week.
10 years sounds exaggerated, I get it, but this is how I am thinking about creativity these days. Fuck virality and chasing trends. I have gone viral a few times now and it’s overrated. I want to plant long term seeds and I want an approach that is not based on burnout. It’s important I enjoy the creation process just as much as the final product.
To be able to do this, I will need to rethink how I would make content.
In the past, I would focus on faster paced, more polished YouTube videos. This approach would take a lot of time and money.
I don’t want to use this previous strategy.
I want to see how far I can get without spending money. I want to see if there is a way to create longer form content for YouTube. Almost like a lecture or lesson.
I don’t have all the details yet, but this week I am going to dive deeper and see if I am ready to commit.
Big love,
D
