Some days I feel like I’m not fully here. Not fully on this planet. Like a part of my consciousness is disconnected and in a different dimension.
Thanks to my years of personal journaling, I am able to track patterns in other similar moments from my past.
Today I realized this happens to me when there is a lot of pressure in my life and I am not exactly sure how to handle it all.
I start to numb or ignore my responsibilities which only exacerbates them and the added pressure get me to a place whereI start to disconnect.
It’s incredibly helpful to have awareness of this pattern and also the triggers that activate it.
Today what helped was blocking off time to do a few super simple tasks to help me build forward momentum and energy so that I could eventually take on the bigger tasks.
I am happy to say the second half of the day was very productive thanks to this awareness and small actions.
Yet again, another awesome use for regular journaling.
