DAY 154 - Picnic With My Bestie

Happy Summer Birthday To Me

At the very first Artist Morning there was only one person and that was my bestie Lilian Motto.

She’s been there through all my wild and crazy ideas with boatloads of love and support.

And today she took me on a picnic to celebrate my “summer birthday”.

My actual birthday is the day after Christmas so I never get to see any friends, partially because everyone has holiday plans and also because I am normally exhausted from all the Christmas parties the week before.

So this year I decided to declare one day in the summer my new birthday and finally experience a b-day where I’m not exhausted and feeling antisocial.

I shared this idea with Lil a few months back as a joke and she remembered the random date I picked in June and surprised me with a picnic.

Her kindness and thoughtfulness never cease to amazing me.

I am infinitely grateful for her friendship in my life.
