Finding Sanctuary Amidst Chaos & Drama
There’s a place right behind your heart... can I tell you about it?
All of a sudden, as I was in the middle of all the drama,
it was as if my mind, my heart—even my soul—took a deep breath.
I was in a place where I could watch it all unfold.
I believe this is the seat of my soul.
Good morning Artists,
A powerful visual came to me during my meditation this morning and I wanted to share it with you today.
I recorded it with my mic and added some audio because I love music. 🎶
The concept I share today has been really helpful for me. It’s allowed me to step outside the drama of my life and find effective ways to build a new and more supportive inner narrative.
Have a listen and let me know what you think.

This Week’s Journaling Prompt:
Take a moment to reflect on your knee-jerk reactions to stress.
Is stress something you tune out or try to shut down?
Do you bury it with “happy thoughts” and gloss it over with positivity?
Are you quick to react with frustration or anger?
Do you often find yourself slipping into a victim mindset?
After you list a few of your typical reactions to stress, ask yourself for each:
Is this aligned with my highest good and the good of others?
→ If you answer yes for any of your reactions, make a note of where you learned these positive mechanisms (e.g. parents, coaches, nature walks).
→ If you answer no for any of your reactions, explore each of them, and how you could handle stress differently moving forward (e.g. instead of shutting down, going for a walk and moving your body; instead of yelling, doing breathwork).
Whatever your answers are, please approach this exercise with compassion, not judgment. Remember that we are all a work in progress, and understanding your default coping mechanisms is the first step to creating healthier strategies.

So interesting I think I found this place with surprise amongst the stress and anxiety I had came this centered self who felt strong and confident with stress around me. Shutdown being my usual response to protect. I found this by realising what is important truly in life and that no matter what everything will work out one way or another. It's part of the journey. Thank you. Just discovered substack through you.
