Dear Artist,
This week, I woke up imagining a world where I can help you begin your day feeling loved, supported, and creatively inspired. And to be clear when I say begin your day, I mean the very first seconds of your day.
So today I decided to create a shorter, more intimate audio experience that you can listen to in the morning. It’s 5 minutes of me speaking directly to you—straight from the heart, into your ears. The goal isn’t to go deep (like my other longer meditations), it’s to elevate your energy levels and set them up for success, bright and early, and help you raise your energy and vibration in the first few moments of your day.
While I love the 20-minute meditations I share on Insight Timer and YouTube, they’re a different vibe and not always the first thing you turn to when you wake up. But with this 5-minute guided experience, it can be.
These first few morning moments are crucial for setting the tone for the day ahead. Jim Kwik talks about this a lot: if you choose to start your day intentionally (e.g. meditation, journaling, reading something positive) you can activate a responsive brain which will carry forward for the rest of the day.
In other words, you’re much more likely to feel grounded, calm and confident. And that would bring me so much joy.
I almost never make 5 min meditations, and this feels like a totally different genre, which is both scary and exciting? So I’d love for you to give it a listen and let me know if you’d like more of these. Your feedback is invaluable to me and the Artist Morning community, and if this goes well, I might make it an entire series.

As you begin your day, take a moment to reflect on the power of those precious first few minutes after you wake up.
How do you usually start your mornings, and how does that routine shape the rest of your day?
Is there something you could let go of in those initial moments to create a more positive, peaceful start?
What could you add to those first moments to infuse your day with greater energy, joy, or intention?
Start by considering the first 10 minutes of your day, and then gently expand your reflection to the first hour. Remember, there’s no right or wrong way—everyone’s morning looks different. Be kind to yourself as you explore what works best for you and craft a morning practice that nurtures your soul.
