Fascinating to hear your afterthoughts and I wish for you the learning from this situation so that another time, you will have the words to pause and start again. My heart cracked when Helen gave her answer and perhaps Helen heard your heart even though your mouth couldn't articulate all the feelings in that moment. Watching this is helping all of us who watch you consider how we might respond in the future. Always teaching and always learning...Thanks D.
I follow you on TikTok so I’ve seen some of the No Strangers videos before but I am really enjoying your behind-the-lens thought process and the resulting personal growth. Your redo response is perfection, hit me like poetry. Hope you both get to reconnect.
Funny, but what resonates with me is the friend who wasn’t chosen to be in the photo shoot. I felt her emotions right through her eyes, even though she was on camera for seconds. (Please tell me I’m wrong and that you took photos of her too!)
I did not get photos of her friend. That was one of the first times I approached 2 people at once. It's very nerve racking to approach one person, let alone 2. As I build more muscle memory and courage I will attempt to photography more than the one friend. For now, I got in my head about overstepping and taking up too much of their time. Excited to push some new edges the next time.
Yes! Your voice dropped and paused when she replied. That added to my reaction. Sorry for numerous replies. This one hit a chord for me today. Not sure why. Have a great day.
You paused and almost lost for words. That’s a strong statement, you lightly stumbled, and tried to recover. It was gentle and literally brought tears to my heart. I had to rewind it twice. No offence it was a beautiful moment for me.
Hey Darius, I knew she made you nervous, she kinda stumped you! You have heart brother, and best part is that you ain’t afraid to show it!!!! Love your Morning Journey.

You are right about all of this.
A tad nervous maybe??? I’m not expressing it very well. If it comes to me I will let you know.
I think you expressed it very well actually.

That’s such a nice reflection to share. Thank you.

What gave it away? Was it my voice or something else? Also, thanks for the support and kindness Antonella. :)
